My friend Rand Cooley has released an hour long interview of another friend (such is shortline railroading) on YT.  You can find it by searcing on YT for High Iron with Dan Butler.  It is an hour well spent.

I watched both the Dan and Ken stories.  A lot of names and places that I remember,  Where are Dan and Ken now?

They're both retired, living in Clackamas and Sheridan.
