80th birthday cake
Author: MEKoch

My wife and I turned in the past few weeks-months.  So over Christmas, the kids had a party for us.   My cake was an Amtrak P42.   Eddie's in Baltimore created the cake.  I was pleasantly surprised by their depiction of this familiar locomotive.  Ues, it was quite tasty.

Like many of you, I could not qualify now as a railroader, with poor vision, poor hearing, and moving much slower.  But still like to work on track......

Happy 80'th. I'll catch you in 5 years. I understand about being slower. I'd like to run an engine again for fun , but climbing up the steps would kill my shoulders and knees.

Congrats on the milestone.

And second that motion! Hope you had a really nice celebration...the cake looks terrific (and glad to hear it tasted good, too). All best wishes for health and happiness in the years ahead.

Happy 80. Consider it as Seaboard engine crews did - 80 is just a beginning.

Notch 7, I knew some SAL engineers that found a new family bible every few years. And I know what you mean by 80 is just the beginning.
