The two RBBB trains (sometimes called "RBBX" trains due to the reporting marks on the cars, or the "Monkey Trains" by the host RRs) will be moving on two separate dates this time:

BLUE UNIT 136th Edition - 59 cars
Feb. 6 - Greenville SC to Greensboro NC

RED UNIT 135th Edition - 56 cars
Feb. 8 - Raleigh NC to Atlanta GA

EDIT: It was suggested the other day that the Red Unit's jump from Raleigh to Atlanta GA might take them past the Blue Unit's train in Greensboro on the morning of Feb. 8, however that's been confirmed as a "NO" - different routing is scheduled, other than N.S.

Crew change is Linwood.

That is what I suspected, for N.S. traincrews. However, people I know on the Red Unit in Raleigh, as well as friends w/ N.S., now say that NS is not the carrier that is "scheduled" to haul the Red Unit to Atlanta. (NOTE THOSE QUOTATION MARKS...) Sorry, everyone in the Greensboro NC area! You won't see both trains there at the same time after all, this time around. Too bad; that would have been FUN.
