Eastern Railroad Discussion > OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows....Date: 12/09/06 18:57 OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows.... Author: SVTS Years ago, I took my wife to a spectacular x-mas village located on a farm in central Pennsylvania. However, I cannot recall the name of the place, nor the name of the town. All I can recall is I think the place began with a "K" and it was not far off I-78, a little west of Roadside America. I know this is off topic, but I also figured I would probally get an answer pretty quick as many TO members live in that region, so please Tood, leave this up for a little bit. I am hoping to take our 5 year old daughter there this year when we visit Marylard for the holidays. Thanks in advance.....

It is just a little west of Roadside America. Here is a link to their site. http://www.koziarschristmasvillage.com/index1.htm Date: 12/09/06 21:33 Re: OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows.... Author: cota1992 Cool!
I might have to see if the wife and I can do a fast road trip some how in the next few weeks. Art in DC Date: 12/10/06 06:55 Re: OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows.... Author: SVTS Yep, thats it. Thanks for the link. Indeed, it is a must see and well worth a few hours drive.
Chris Bogley Bowie, MD Date: 12/11/06 05:01 Re: OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows.... Author: Gonut1 Definately rail related, Christmas Village has several model railroad displays. Not for a scale modeler but sure pleases the kids!
Gonut Date: 12/11/06 13:59 Re: OT sure.....but I'm sure someone knows.... Author: SVTS Yeah, I do recall seeing at least one display when we were there. This was before our duaghter was born I think, so it has been roughly 5 years since we were there, maybe longer. But she is at the age now where she will really enjoy a place like Kozairs. Who knows, might even stop by Roadside Amaerica for old times sake.

He's a highway engineer for PennDOT. I just stood back and watched his jaw drop as we went into the display area. Then we went to Koziar's Christmas Farm. Both were well worth the trip!
