How are these units going to be routed down to Augusta? This may have been covered in previous threads, but its hard to locate with so many threads on the units. If anyone knows a schedule for the trip that would be appreciated as well.

Just a guess, based on references to Hagerstown and Lynchburg:

Hagerstown - Roanoke - Lynchburg - Charlotte - Columbia - Augusta.

Have not seen a schedule. If it doesn't overnight anywhere, it could be in Augusta by noon Friday. (The "Aiken-Augusta Special" was carded for 12 hours, 30 minutes between Lynchburg and Augusta.)

Units by Front Royal, east bound on the B line to Manassas at 6pm and are they looking good

Saw a report from an NS employee that the train is expected to depart Linwood at or around 2 a.m. Looks like I will miss it through Columbia because of work. Hopefully I will catch them on their way back.

Anyone know which route it will take to Augusta? Via Columbia or perhaps the long way around and via Atlanta?

Just heard from an employee that the train (already on the B line to Manassas) is going straight shot down the Southern to Charlotte, then to Columbia, SC, and Augusta. Approx 16 cars including both diners.
Thanks to the poster on another thread, OS Front Royal approx 6PM Thurs.
