After shooting train action in the snow at Cresson on Saturday morning, I returned to MO this morning just as morning fog was starting to break...Pic 1....A WB NS 11A, with a Conrail blue C40-8 in consist, rolls through MO in Cresson this morning...with a fogbank as a backdrop...Pic 2...A Westward view shows some blue skies appearing through the fog....Dave Williams

As the 11A continues West, an Eastbound coaldrag emerges from the fog as it struggles up the West Slope grade....This was a long train...with only two road units, a 4 pack of rear helpers was working hard to keep the train moving....Dave W.

A going away shot of the drag's helpers...the train was crossing over from 2 to 1 at MO to head over the Mountain past AR....and shortly afterwards, a Westbound 25Z rolls through MO....and an Eastbound 10G stops West of MO to get a helper ahead....Dave W.

Thanks...even though NS Black may be predominating on the Pittsburgh Line nowadays, there is still plenty of variety as far as lighting, weather, differences in day to day activity and local landscapes and towns as a backdrop to continue to make that area enjoyable for me to railfan and photograph...Dave W.
