This was always what I thought it should be, or some variant of this-- perhaps leave the "Norfolk Southern" off the bottom of the logo? In case you didn't notice, I made the logo less rectangular but didn't make it too large to overwhelm the nose.

Mount a Leslie S5 airhorn centered on the cab roof and I'll pay to run that sucker 12 hours straight! I'll bring my own sunglasses and earplugs.
