How many locomotives does CSX own, approximately?

At last count, approximately 3600 units. (includes CSX, ex-Conrail, and lease units)

3600 evidentily is not enough as there are still many lease units roaming CSX. It was reported that in excess of 500 lease units were being used. Anyone have an exact figure on how many leasers are still on CSX?
