Just seen on the way home...

Train X501-09 at Grand Junction, Michigan, Milepost CG 57+/-, Grand Rapids Subdivision, at 4:40 pm, EDT. Power: one unit...CP 9155.

This is only the second CP SD-90/43 MAC I've seen. Just saw the 9146 last week, but it was the middle of a three unit consist. From the discussions I've read about these units, I would guess it is unusual to see one in the lead, or running solo like this.

In any case, makes a fine way to end the week.

Nice shot, I was driving through Detroit last Wednesday and saw one of these units leading a AC44CW. I was unable to get the number off of the unit due to my speed but it was heading west...
