Eastern Railroad Discussion > Southern Tier Signals ... Update

Finally the long awaited signal upgrade of CP's Alden and Marilla as well as intermediates "Sullivan Rd." and MP 398.7 [Darien Cnt.] is at hand.
CP. Alden had its switch relocated today the line was OOS from Approximately 10:00AM this morning till the first train passed thru at about 10:45 this evening.
The signal cutover is scheduled to happen on Dec 1 or 2 But as always its subject to change as it was origionally scheduled to happen in Sept.

Could you give the location? Not familiar with Sullivan road.

This is all near the first passing siding east of Buffalo on the ex-EL.

Sullivan Rd is in the Village of Alden N.Y. It also the location of the intermediate signals in the middle of Alden Siding.
