Monroe Q/L038?

I was in Monroe Friday morning an saw what I thought was the above train. I
believe I heard on the scanner 2X it called the Q040. It had the Seaboard and
Crowley stacks like the Q/L038? Has a change been made here too?

You probably heard correct. Q040 is a Thursday only departure out of Jacksonville for Charlotte. Q040 is one of the handful of December only intermodals that CSX runs. Q037/Q038 are still the regular Jax - Charlotte intermodals.

What is the purpose of changing the train for one day? I think I read that they are doing the same thing with the juice train, it run's as something different om certain day's. Does not make since to me.
