CSX by new BX 12/15/12

I decided to stay at the location by the new connector track to see how the vantage point would be for shooting CSX trains as they came up to the new interlocking at BX. This spot place me farther from the tracks then I was used to in Ashland, Va where I am about 25 feet or less. Since Q034 was approaching as I shot the new Norfolk train I figured this would be a good chance to see. The videos of these 2 trains is available to view at YouTube on my channel "Sharon Evans". The tread about the Amtrak Norfolk train is on the passenger board at http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,2943348

This first shot shows CSX ES40DC 5209 as he leads Q034 toward BX on the 2 main.

This next shot is of the trailing units, CW44AC 450 and ES40DC 5326 as they pass the stopped P088.

Next I was hearing that the empty trash train for NYC was ready to pull from Collier so hung around for him also and this first shot shows C40-8 7496 leading the train as it approached BX.

We next see the trailing unit, ES44AH 925, as he passes me on main 1.

L702 is slowing to a stop to allow his conductor to get aboard after hanging the FRED and getting a ride to this point.

L702 is underway again passing the Inland Container plant.

The last green containers pass by as the train heads north to Acca Yard in Richmond, VA then on to NYC.
