Author: rbx551985 PERDUE is "in talks" to place a new, large SOYBEAN processing facility on the abandoned container terminal at Portsmouth, Va. - directly across the Elizabeth River from NS's Lambert's Point coal export area. BELOW is the story in today's VIRGINIAN-PILOT newspaper ('no word in it about rail ops, but both NS and CSXT have grain trains carrying soybeans to Perdue's Norfolk-area operation).

I'm guessing it is at the site of the old ACL and Southern Railway yard or else maybe at the old NYP&N docks which were at the end of the Norfolk and Portmouth Belt Line Railroad.
