Eastern Railroad Discussion > Grey Day GreysDate: 03/09/13 21:39 Grey Day Greys Author: SDL39 T 284 in Milwaukee, WI today had NS 1066 leading. Gobs of folks out shooting it.
I was in town visiting a hobby shop, and saw it pumping air before leaving town. So when in Rome.... On the way home, to Green Bay, WI, I turned on the 60's channel. Airing was longtime former WABC DJ Cousin Brucie and his oldies show. I listened to him in the 70's when I lived in Ridgewood, NJ. I was too young for the NYC lightening stripe scheme. I got a lot of EL and some of PC. Enjoy. Bob Schoneman Appleton, WI Date: 03/10/13 04:58 Re: Grey Day Greys Author: jmbreitigan Nice pictures. I too remember Cousin Brucie.
John Date: 03/10/13 08:53 Re: Grey Day Greys Author: icancmp193 Cousin Brucie came to my high school when we were runner-ups in the "Principal of the Year" contest that WABC used to hold. I too missed the NYC for E-L and P-C.

That was fun! Nice pics. BUT, what the heck is the pale structure with the cables or ropes, leaning in the left background? Thanks Mark Date: 03/10/13 15:01 Re: Grey Day Greys Author: ns1000 I LIKE Pic 2!!!

There is a small canal that enlarges and goes into Lake Michigan a ways up the road. That is part of the art deco structure of the highway bridge that goes over this canal. Had we more time and weather permits, we would of gotten a better location. But everybody and their brother were out shooting this. Including the highway bridges. That caught the attention of the Milwaukee PD. So we got our tight surgical shots and left. ASAP. RJS Date: 03/10/13 20:48 Re: Grey Day Greys Author: Markedup SDL39 Wrote:
