Date: 08/14/01 20:32 J&L Steel Author: wle1768 Not sure if it was taken in Alquippa or not, but the Alco in question is an J&L Steel unit. They had a couple of these units working around Aliquippa. I shot 4 of them, painted just like this, back in 1988, when they started to tear the Aliquippa plant down.

Date: 08/15/01 22:32 RE: Hold on there Author: Splicer On the P&LE....yes. But not a P&LE unit. It is a J&L engine. I have it in the dead line on the Aliquippa Southern with 106 and 108 ( in bi-centennial paint) in '89. I'm working on a good scan.
