While waiting on the CSX mainline west of Rochester NY for the westbound return of the NS 8100, the NKP heritage unit, I checked one of the heritage sites and discovered that the Conrail heritage unit was leading 12T toward Buffalo. Since I had already shot the NKP unit previously and yesterday it was trailing, I decided to head down toward Attica NY on the former Erie Lackawanna line to get the NS 8098 which I had not seen before. Here it is gliding down Attica hill on a very nice afternoon.
