Eastern Railroad Discussion > Ready to Blast OffDate: 08/20/13 17:17 Ready to Blast Off Author: CGTower Photo 1: Awaiting the curfew to lift on the Toledo Subdivision we find (from left to right), K420, Q042 and Q500 waiting at Lima, Ohio. All waiting to blast off.
Photo 2: Reason for the delay, rail replacement. Photo 3: Q042 runs the bean fields on its final jog to North Baltimore. CG Tower Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/20/13 17:32 by CGTower. pervious post. I know I seem to always catch those dirty cowl engines. Alan Date: 08/20/13 17:51 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: PowellWye The first photo is obviously photoshopped. Better luck winning the lottery then seeing 3 CSX units all with matching numberboards..
Nice shots. Date: 08/20/13 17:56 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: FEC2000 Nice catch. Reminds me way back when the EL would line up like that in the Kent yard.

Is that Bible Road?
Date: 08/20/13 19:04 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: CGTower Yep. "Biblical" Road as they oft call it.

Date: 08/20/13 19:13 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: DoctorThunder Just so you know, if you are down in the shrubbery off Bible Road at 3 AM the prison guards will want to know what the heck you are doing. You may find this totally unreasonable if you attended a local high school but let's be Fair, you are 100 yards from a prison and it makes perfect sense to basically anyone else in the universe.

Date: 08/21/13 03:58 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: CGTower Yes, exactly what they do, Q134 now terminates in Cincy...so that traffic is combined to what NB traffic Q042 has. The train keeps its Q042 symbol.

I got use to seeing Q134 around 6-630am everyday at wapak. Posted from iPhone Date: 08/21/13 05:16 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: farmer Q133 will be the southbound from North Baltimore.
Posted from iPhone Date: 08/21/13 05:23 Re: Ready to Blast Off Author: CGTower Q-042 is profiled into Lima about mid-day for now...not sure if that will change once the track work is done or not.
Indeed, we will not see two intermodal trains, at least yet...but more traffic is on the horizon...at least so its said.
