My turn at the Q015
Author: nancyg

My turn at the Q015, Alan shot it the other day so today I got a chance even though it was very cold today, 10 degrees,
it was kind of sunny, so Alan and I decided to see what was happening on the rails. We worked our way towards Willard, OH,
and found that like our rescue box turtles, the trains were also hibernating.

But getting back to what we saw:

photo 1) Right down the street from where we live we saw the Q015 crossing Broad St. at BG124
photo 2)The Q015 heads west, with a brand new engine
photo 3) Q015 west behind the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. where my dad worked for 45 years.

We then headed towards Barberton so I could see the ABC engine.

photo 4) I like this photo of the Q015, with the new/clean engine leaning through the curve
photo 5) ABC SW1501 at BG135 getting ready to come out on CSX main. It will then become the Z642 and get off at bridge 16, behind Firestone
photo 6) ABC SW1501 on the main.

Thanks for checking my photos.

Thanks you Jeff. I am trying to work on composing my pictures, but when Alan sees a train coming quickly and says "Jump out and get that picture," it is kind of hard.

Nice work!

As for composition, J.J. Young always said the grab shot you have is worth more than the perfectly composed one you meant to take.

Nice catch of that recently built GEVO. I've yet to get any new ones with that high of a number.
