PRR5711, a different view
Author: ddavies

Crossing the SusieQ with the Port Road in the foreground. The white blob above the bridge is actually the moon.

Beautiful composition, fall colors, bridge, great engines. This photo could be convincing as a 50 year old photo, rather than current.

... if only the Havre de Grace bridge hadn't been built by the B&O! Mr. Davies, I'm ever envious of your excellent photography.

Aren't we all! Fantastic photography, as usual. Thanks for sharing with us Dave. I think I speak for many. We await your next "artwork".

Its definately a 'unique' view of the bridge. How come not the traditional angle Dave?

Dave, Could you list again the URL for your site. I need to locate a picture that I was using for background that I lost in a recent HD crash.

Thanks

Had never been up to the top, but when I got there someone else had a 8 ft stepladder, and that was what you needed because the railing was in your face if you shot from track level :-(

Brian was back toward the curve, and was considering that, but when he gave a lift back to my car (had parked down below) when he went to chase the western section, I though I'd stay down low ... after having to "adjust" a couple small trees/large weeds that were messing up this shot :-)

I bet the guy on the ladder got a great shot! Ashame he had to ruin it for everyone else though, but I guess that's part of the whole first one to set up rule. Better luck next time I guess.

CR, looking at MORE rain

He didn't ruin it, I could have stood beside him, I just didn't like the shot w/o a ladder :-(
