Eastern Railroad Discussion > Going to extremes - the Tortoise and the HareDate: 11/21/02 05:51 Going to extremes - the Tortoise and the Hare Author: oaksmodelrr A couple movies have been added to the SEPTA and Acela movie archives
In an effort to bring you the Rail Scrubber Television Network (all Scrubber all the time), here is a clip of it at the aptly named Forest Hills station (as in "Train 362 reports slippery rail at Forest Hills") and at Neshaminy Falls, where while I was watching the fun (a nb SEPTA local stopped south of NF waiting for Scrubber holding nb track north of NF which would crossover south to sb track after sb SEPTA local passed), CSX C770 with a GP38-2 and an SW1001 blasts by (and I mean blasts in a relative way because I hardly ever see him moving that fast) on the adjacent Trenton Line. Considering the speed of the Scrubber, it was a fairly easy train to chase. http://www.trainweb.org/oaksmodelrr/Septa_movies.html And not the usual Acela (can anyone guess why??????) http://www.trainweb.org/oaksmodelrr/Acela_movies.html |
