Eastern Railroad Discussion > Some snow in NJDate: 02/18/03 19:42 Some snow in NJ Author: chuchubob I stopped in at Princeton Junction and Cherry Hill on my way home from work Tuesday to get some snow shots.
First is westbound NJ Transit train #3852 arriving at Princeton Jct. The snow was a couple inches above the top of the rail on tracks 1 and 4, and lower on tracks 2 and 3, presumably having been blown away by Acela Expresses and other fast-moning Amtrak trains. Next is NJT train #4617 approaching Cherry Hill (Atlantic City line) from Philadelphia. The snow in Cherry Hill was several inches higher than top-of-rail. Third is NJT train #4616 coming up from Atlantic City. The building in the background to the left is the grandstand of defunct garden State Racetrack. |
