Weather rollercoaster
Author: howeld

Ohio has been a weather rollercoaster this week. Started with single digits temperatures over the weekend to mid 40s with 60mph winds.  Started with snow and ended with severe thunderstorms then right back to ice covered roads the next morning.    So on those ice covered roads I set out from Bellefountaine, OH with the hope of making it to the wide open curve north of Degraff, OH.  I could hear Q348 approaching from the west and was looking forward to a nice sunrise shot of the train climbing to Ohio's highest point.  Luck was not on my side as I encountered a snow plow slowly spreading salt to combat the ice and leaving me on the wrong side of the tracks.   Oh well better luck next time and stay safe on these winter roads.
