I posted a thread earlier today on my day in "Slower Delaware" photographing the new Delmarva Central Railroad. After that post I reviewed the DCR roster and pleasantly discovered I had photographed SWP SD40-2 #3501 44 years earlier when it was Western Maryland #7446.

Have stood in that exact same spot in shot 2 many a time and grabbed shots. Brings back memories. Thanks for sharing. Ben

That's neat remembering and then finding the slide. Was it already digitized?

Are the SWP units "temporary" pending the arrival of more power for DC? Does SWP run any former WM lines in PA?

Really cool - thanks for sharing!
SWP runs over former B&O and PRR trackage but plans to reactivate the former WM Bowest Yard near Connellsville, PA.
