Eastern Railroad Discussion > Southern Vacation: Day 2, Pickens U18B's and MoreDate: 04/21/17 08:15 Southern Vacation: Day 2, Pickens U18B's and More Author: Ohiorailfan Monday April 10th finds me hunting the Pickens in Anderson, SC. Luck was on my side as they are still running the U18B's on the Gluck Job. After the Pickens I swung by the Greenville and Western shops in Belton, SC. After Belton we headed to Ranlo, NC for the damaged SLRG F40PH's. Enjoy!!

Date: 04/23/17 08:47 Re: Southern Vacation: Day 2, Pickens U18B's and More Author: lapklub The SLRG units were working on Piedmont & Northern that ran between Gastonia and Mount Holly NC. After they got damaged in the incident with the garbage truck they were parked. They were replaces for a while with xLV F units, but they are now gone.
They are trying to drum up some business for this line but it's not going too well. Mike |
