Curious if the 518 was still in town I took a ride to Blairsville before work. Sure enough, the second crew was still at the tipple and radio chatter indicated they were securing the train until the next crew arrived. I was able to sneak away early afternoon, and the train was still unloading at 2pm. They finally completed just before 4:30pm. I was able to catch the train passing thru downtown. The crew (the third) was told to tie the train down as the recrew, the fourth, was not yet on site.

I assume the fourth crew will get the train (now the 519) reassembled and headed west. Not being from here, I don't know if all such unloadings take multiple crews. I'll pay attention the next time I notice a 518 in town. Right now Homer City is in their spring outage (on unit 3) so coal deliveries may be reduced for a bit.
