In case anyone is interested, an empty 561 is about to head south on the Keystone branch from Shelocta. Departing at 2:50pm

Updated with a short video of the train at Clarksburg, PA. This is, to me, the most scenic location on the branch. I hope to catch other trains here in better light. But on this line you take what you can get, when you can get it!

This is almost to the spot the location of the end of track of the old Chessie (nee-B&O, and way back BR&P) line, after the line was cut back to here from Iselin. The old line crossed Park Drive a few hundred feet behind me. The Google Maps location (40.539184, -79.373718) shows the new line and the old line can still barely been seen...in fact, one can see where the branch used to cross Park Drive, if you look closely and observe the pavement.
