Nice photos as usual. How often is that Q315 running? Do you know if it is also a Russell train?

Sunday's Q315 was all Frac. Sand, so I figure it only went as far as Grafton. W263 had mainly LPG tanks and Center Beam Flats so I also figure it only went as far as Grafton also. I always believe the Q315 and Q314 along with the "S" versions were just trains between Grafton and Cumberland handling the tonnage over what the regular 317 / 316 could handle over the mountain. I'm sure somewhere, sometime 314 or 315 has been to Russell...

Interesting. Where do those loads or empties of frac sand, LPGA, and lumber head to from around Grafton?

Frac sand going to Fairmont,WV ,i think. The old Fourco glass plant also gets frac sand ,but those have been running as 80 car unit trains from illinois. They have been coming down from McKeesport,Pa to Newell,Pa to Grafton,WV. they are also unloading frac sand at Benwood,WV but that too has been running as a unit train from Illinois via Columbus,Oh to Russell,Ky and up the Ohio River sub.

Thanks! I was wondering if any of that traffic went south of Grafton on the A&O, but interesting to hear of that much existing elsewhere as well.
