Tis a sad day indeed as the last Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus Train rolled west over CSX's Trenton Line in Belle Mead (TL MP 50) around 9:47 on Wednesday. With the CSX symbol as P923 the power consist was CSX 3159 and CSX 726. The train consisted of cars from both the Red and Blue Units and definitely made for one long train. It seemed strange not to see any passengers standing in the vestibule watching the landscape pass by. At times when they took notice of trackside photographers, such as myself, they would extend a wave and I would wave back. It was a great train for one to be fortunate to see or photograph. Now that it is history those times of my waiting were well worth it!

Image of the day and / or video of the day quality, spot on commentary. The choice of the abandoned passenger station nailed the somber tone.

I don't know how I would have felt watching an empty circus train?

What's the radio scanner frequency for CSX's B&O lines from Philadelphia to Baltimore, and then to D.C.? I'm in Wilmington DE to follow this move to Rocky Mount NC....

I have one fan looking to see it at St. Denis in Maryland and I'm trying to grab some photos at CP-Virginia (L'Enfant Plaza VRE Station) in Washington DC

Late reply but the Wilsmere video was most useful to me because I was there and messed up my log. I missed a car and the video also so the two ex-baggage cars have six wheel trucks, now the axle count agrees. Thanks for posting.
