the circus has a few more years existence than the Grays Ferry Tunnel in Philly ... the trackage here are the leads into the former B&O Eastside yard in Southwest Philly ..

923 stopping at RG for a crew change ... RG is the interlocking ... the former B&O tower barely seen in the background is a sign up location for CSX crews traveling both ways ... the yard is Eastside and this is where the oil trains for PES went through the yard to the oil racks ... there was was also a connection to PES on the former B&O on 5he back road the B&O route to their Snyder Ave trailer ramp in South Philly ... the back road connected to the former PRR Delaware Extennsion at Penrose ... B&O and the PRR and their successors both shared access via Penrose to the Massive Tidewater Grain terminal at Griard Point ...

after crossing the swing bridge at RG at basically water level the former B&O runs Eastwick a former Reading connection to Stoney Creek yard in Chester/Trainer/Marcus Hook ... after Eastwick the railroad ducks under Elmwood Ave (background), a SEPTA highly used trolley route and then climbs up to the truss bridge over the AMTRAK NEC at 58th St interlocking ... the track on the left is Arsenal connection to the former PRR High Line and a direct headon route into South Philly via the former PRR Delaware Extension ... the interlocking here was just a set of crossovers before the Arsenal connectioon was built in the 90s but now it serves as a route diverting location ...

932 crossing over at 58th St ... the railroad single tracks a cpl miles down the road at Darby and then crosses at grade the Woodlawn Ave trolley route to Darby and ducks into one the obstacles restricting double stacks ... the Darby tunnel ..
