I recently took advantage of a sale at B+H and bought a Nikon D5500 DSLR camera with Nikon's latest version of the 18-55mm VR lens. I have to say that this newest version of the 18-55 lens is the sharpest zoom lens that I have ever used. The camera is very light and the touch screen for changing settings is fast and convenient. I bought it for use as a lightweight travel camera and was trying it out for the third time. So far, I am very impressed with it.
