Now this was probably the luckiest catch I have caught this year outside of LV 8104 on 18N in Hudson back earlier this year. But I went up to Mentor today to go to some stores and not for trains. So after I was done I decided to drive to 615 and head north near Deekers. So I drove down and there was a double yellow signal for an eastbound and then turned green. Well less then 10 minutes later was NS 310 with a NS GEVO and ACe as power. I didn't take any photos because not good power or cars. But after he passed a few friends of mine had there scanners and dispatch was talking to 310 meeting 67X in Perry. So we decided to wait and 45 minutes after 310 came at 7:27PM NS westbound tank train with placard's #1993 which is diesel fuel with a pure luck catch of CN SD70M-2 #8898, CN IC Blue Devil C40-8W #2462 trailing 2nd and CN SD70M-2 #8803 trailing 3rd. For me and the other people there had no clue this was coming at all. This was the best surprise I've caught in Mentor in a very long time. So overall, this was a pure luck catch.

Walt, your welcome and thanks about the photos. I had to post right away when I got home incase no believed I saw it after reporting on the Heritage Units sight when I got home.

Great shots! However, I've gotta ask . . . What's all that green stuff along side the right of way?? Never see that where I'm located!! :-\
