On my way to the wedding I was best man in, I figured I would stop in Deshler, Ohio as a pit stop to stretch out a little bit. Considering that also there was some construction in Findlay that I wanted to avoid, and ST Rt. 65 would take me to my grandparents back door as it was. Here is some pics from Deshler, Ohio.

First was this manifest coming with CSX 5450 and CSX 5384, but little did I know there was a surprise in the consist. That is in the next thread.

That surprise turned out to be TORC 996, but I cannot figure out why CSX would route a TORC unit north then East towards Willard, unless it was going via Fostoria, and even then its a stretch.

I did photo a few other trains, however those pics are not included here.

I did wait for this CP lead Eastbound intermodal, and I was hoping to get it as I have to send these pictures to someone.

I did see CSXT 3333 on K185, but the pic I have was pure crap of that locomotive.

Either way it was great to be back where I know I'm home.

Nice catches and photos. I have seen the TORC units in Cumberland before, I am guessing for their inspections. Wonder if it was coming from Huntington.

I was in Cincinnati (Queensgate Yd) for a few weeks starting in early June

Was in Fostoria on May 17th and saw TORC 996 trailing U.P. 5631 on train Q241 which would have gone to Cincinnati or beyond.
