Eastern Railroad Discussion > Reading & Northern - a local & GP30sDate: 07/11/17 18:42 Reading & Northern - a local & GP30s Author: OCtrainguy Playing catch up on some videos and I thought these two were worth sharing. On April 8th, I was out in the Minersville, PA area photographing CNJ 113 running with Easter Bunny trains. While at a location called Westwood Junction, a Reading & Northern local was waiting for the CNJ train to pass. From what I was told, this was GSPN, Good Spring to Port Clinton. It was very cool to see the SD40-2 pair and hear them start up from their stopped position to head out of the junction. So the photo and the first video are of that local.
The second video is of one of the Easter Bunny trains with the GP30s leading. Due to the lighting and my (and others) photo angle, I opted for a going away look in this one. The GP30s look sharp in this paint scheme! This is at a location called "BECKS" and is just north of Cressona. Hope you enjoy! You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today!
