Eastern Railroad Discussion > Never know where a caboose will show up

I was out and about around Shelocta, PA hoping to catch a train into or out of the Keystone plant. That didn't happen, but I did stumble across this caboose. I was surprised to see it, so I doubled back and got a few cell phone pics. It is located off of RT 210, just outside Elderton, PA. Here are the Google Map coordinates: 40.680838, -79.344614

It appears the Amtrak number was 14005 if I read it correctly.

If anyone knows the history of the cabin, and especially how it got here, I'd love to hear it!

Amtrak caboose 14005
And lots of information came up..
