Eastern Railroad Discussion > New Assignment for NS 1700 TodayDate: 07/22/17 17:42 New Assignment for NS 1700 Today Author: cr2581 Worked the JR-2 yard job out of Port Reading instead of the usual PR-32. Those waiting at Bound Brook for the PR-32 Lehigh Line detour must have been somewhat disappointed. JR-2 made a quick pull of ethanol empties from Motiva in Sewaren before retiring for the day. It was coupled back to back with CSX 4423.

The track from the yard out to Bound Brook crosses the Garden State secondary. If I recall late April was its last journey across the Reading Line.
