How silly! EHH and serious issues? Now way.

Why, we are not going to spend money on our railroad to repair, upgrade or enhance our system. That is a big waste. We are going to downgrade track quality and capacity. Hump yards - forget it. Double track - forget it. CTC - forget it. Servicing our customers - forget it.

This should surprise no one. The shippers have been burning up the phone lines, to whoever will listen, with complaints. Arch Coal and other coal shippers are pissed.

Since Harrison is well known for not really caring what many of the shippers think this was getting ugly, fast...the STB had no choice but to step in.

The other thing that feels so wonderful about EHH and Wallstreet raping CSX, is all the public money that was given to CSX to enhance it's capacity and open up their mainlines to double stacks. Corporate welfare at it's best!!!

To gandydancer4, I think you hit the nail right on the head! Inasmuch as his move to the top was inspired by a
financial group the prospect of a merger/buyout lining his pockets seems very real and at his age - very soon!

Who would want to slip a wedding ring on that railroad with Head chop Harrison running the show, just let it crash like the Wreck of the Penn central...

I'd be more concerned that he would sell off major routes to class 1 lines, and packages of routes to other short lines.
