Eastern Railroad Discussion > Early September Around Bremen / Temple GeorgiaDate: 09/18/17 05:23 Early September Around Bremen / Temple Georgia Author: NSSpike Of late there has been a good number of coal and limestone trains running the NS Georgia Division C-Line district through Bremen Georgia. And of course the daily run of east bound trains on the Alabama Division's East End district. Figured I was due a trip west to Bremen if for nothing else to check up on the progress of the TVP.
#1. Running north on the Georgia Division's C-Line over the diamond crossing the Alabama Division's East End, NS 69W limestone train lite engines rolls through downtown Bremen. Of late, there has been an increase number of coal drags and limestone trains to Georgia Power's Plant Wansley south of Carrollton Georgia. #2. Shoving west via the north leg of the Y in the narrow alleyway, NS 69W will end up setting off two engines on the Bremen storage tracks to the west of town. #3. After setting off two engines NS #2749 SD70M-2 heads back north to the C-Line past the Sewell Mill business building. It will head back south, couple up to the empty limestone train and head back north to Cedartown Georgia. more to follow...
