This was at the New Freedom Fest this pass Saturday in New Freedom,PA

The green monster is coming alive,it's # 10 waking up,it was puff'n and grinding away,I think i could hear it say"I think I can,I think I can,I know i can", for a little run down the track,the bell and the horn sure did work

They had a crew in there several weeks ago,putting in some new ties,still long ways to go

You are correct in that they do have a long way to go and hopefully you and many others will make a donation to the Friends of the Stewartstown Railroad. Every dollar helps a bit and who knows, someday they may be able to operate again between Stewartstown and New Freedom. You know they could complement each other with two different types of passenger trains, the Steam Into History with live steam and the old-time diesel train on the Stewartstown.

I do volunteer,been working on the station windows,currently working on the flat car

Always thought the same thing,BUT,do not think it will happen.Would have nice to have the # 17 sitting out in front of the station that day,It'll never happen

Wish the foul language could have been edited out.....

Or at least sounds like the f bomb is dropped.
