Date: 09/19/17 16:12 Re: NS 39G running opposite main through Bridgeport on way to Abr Author: dschlegel Nice catches Doug! Sunday's 39G had a trio of SD40-2's for power. I didn't get a shot but caught it in Lyons in the afternoon.
Dan Posted from iPhone Date: 09/19/17 16:55 Re: NS 39G running opposite main through Bridgeport on way to Abr Author: VFPNSFAN Thanks Dan! I missed Sundays 39G. Caught one the other day with 169 cars. Same day as the video I posted here. That train had five units for power but two were cut off at Abrams. Here's a pic of that train. That 39G also had a wheel bearing or brake smoking when it went by. Hope you and family are well!!

MOW has been very active on both tracks between Abram's yard and the Flat Rock Tunnel last few weeks. I would guess they had main 1 tied up. With the traffic volume lighter than in Conrail days between Reading and Abrams, I was almost wondering if this line would be single-tracked.
