Nice images! What was the reason for this festival?

That is not a 44tonner. Looks more like aWhitcomb. 44tonners did not have side rods and the hood ends were taller.

Trainboss is correct that it is not a 44 ton locomotive. Research indicates that it is a GE 45 ton locomotive that has been restored by a group of volunteers.

Fall festival featuring food, old automobiles, flea market, historical information and free caboose rides on a mile of restored track.

I believe the 1st car in picture 1 is a Henry J (Kaiser).

I thought Henry J as well, and it is. Must have been a car show there along with the rail show.

Very early 45-tonner (maybe a 43-tonner) distinguished by the steps set back from the corners and handrails going into the hood rather than around as in later 45-tonners.

GE 45 ton restored by volunteers at Belvidere Delaware RR. Additional track has been restored south to Milford, afaik. RR runs south from Philipsburg, NJ. Supposedly to be restored south to Riegelsville for freight service to the former corrugated box plant there. If this is true...I'd guess that the plant will be rebuilt as a distribution warehouse or something. Cant imaging someone would want to start up a box plant again.
