Must have gone down hill this evening... If you strike, and it is later ruled to be a minor dispute by a court, each person who participated can be held liable for an illegal job action. That can mean jail time and/or the carrier trying to recover any financial impacts via a civil suit. Why are we still talking about it? Because it's human nature. Yes we know "the writing was on the wall" but we go on and on. We will continue to talk about it, because it is something to talk about. You put your $0.02 in and so did I. Even if/when Chessie Seaboard gets it together we will still "talk about it". Rail gang is working east of Deshler in the Hoytville area. Defiantly not helping the situation at North Baltimore Date: 09/25/17 20:01 Re: What a joke csx is Author: JLinDE To ns1000 and others. I felt the same way as you before he got the position, and predicted it among friends altho two still do not agree. But I thought he might have something that had not been tried before. CSX was management heavy, and he purged many, disrupting their lives. Now there is hardy none. I've kept a list of his changes. I may have more on that after this Burns/Novick series on the Vietnam is over. But I have to watch it since I was there, during episodes 5 & 6, and episode 7 very briefly shows where I worked, altho the dock congestion in my time never looked like that when I left. I was just a support troop (80% of who served there) so it is not about me but the guys who experienced the very worst. But after 50 years I have to watch, because I have never trusted any other documentary about that war. Nothing has changed since then about politics and war.
Hopefully soon I may be able to offer a RR economic comparison to the pre-EHH operating situation versus the present EHH operating plans. |
