Eastern Railroad Discussion > GMTX Mother & Slug heading west DIT in Pan Am POEDDate: 02/19/18 04:21 GMTX Mother & Slug heading west DIT in Pan Am POED Author: JPB Pan Am's POED freight has just re-crewed at CPF-WL at Willow Rd Ayer, MA on Sunday 2/18/18. Tucked in behind the two sketchy looking "MEC" C40s are slug GMTX 958 and mother GMTX 3050 heading west DIT (reportedly to St Louis). The GMTX units have been in use by PAR on the SAPPI local in Maine for the past 6+ months. Not sure why these units are leaving. They are certainly much better looking than those two dilapidated ex-CSX engines!
