UP and CP both have plenty of SD90s uselessly sitting around that Juniata could revive! I'd rather see 200 more of them than more dull-as-snot ET44ACs...

Author: LimitedClear I like the latest Gevo engines a lot but too many of them out there. I think CSX bought 500 of them in the last few years. I would prefer more SD70ACu rebuilds and SD33eco rebuilds and they probably cost half of a new engine. I thought NS was rebuilding all of their old GE's into AC44C6M engines in the 4000 series and maybe 500 of these to be done in the future.
