Saratoga North Creek meets Amtrak

Found this in my misc files from December 2011.

Looks like the SNC, or at least the IPH version of SNC, is now history.

Here the northbound Amtrak Train #69 to Montreal meets a BL-2 powered train at the Saratoga Springs, NY platform in better although foul weather days.

Did they ever "Hoss" that BL2 back to the tracks?

What a shame. That was a great ride ( yes, I bought tickets, several of them). I had high hopes for the Amtrak connection.
