NS Chicago Line Signals Ligonier-Edgerton
Author: zwsplac

Saw a photo caption on Flickr a few days ago indicating that the new signals on this segment would be cut in within the next few weeks. I'm going to be nearby over the weekend, and was wondering if anyone new if the signal cutovers had occurred? I don't want to waste precious time driving over there only to find I'm too late to catch the last of the old signals.

Also, I'm assuming this means that Edgerton-Wauseon has been cut over to the new stuff already. Is that a correct assumption, or are the old signals still lighting the way?

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

From what I've read (and in many cases seen), everything from Edgerton (CP 352) to LaCarne (MP 261) is now new signals.

Old signals are still up at least from Waterloo (CP367) west to Wawaka, at least from what I saw last Saturday.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like it's worth heading over for some final photos.
