First off on Saturday was a ride on Everett #11 a 1920 Cooke built 2-6-0 on a trip to Martinsburg from Hollidaysburg. The #11 is seen here on the return trip at the Roaring Spring, PA depot for an ice cream break and servicing.

Then in the late afternoon to Horseshoe Curve to catch NS 2749 an SD70ACe sandwiched between two SD80mac's the 7226 and 7221 on a westbound.

NS 1155 and 9013 glide downhill towards Altoona past an admiring crowd.

Amtrak 43 bound for Pittsburgh with #116 leading meets down bound freight with NS 1155 - passengers today will not get much of a view of the curve.

NS 3630 leads another down bound towards Altoona with a group of ATV'ers on the hill above.

Come evening NS 6783 leading UP 5618 passes downtown Altoona eastbound with the dome of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament silhouetted against the twilight sky.

On Sunday morning Amtrak 42 comes east with the #116 that passed west on 43 yesterday and approaches the Altoona platform.

Later in the day NS 9553 heads west with mty hoppers at Summerhill, PA passing the old PRR signal bridge with position light signals still in place.

NS 3613 east at the Route 53 bridge west of Gallitzin with UP 7504.

From the other side of the Route 53 bridge is NS 1118 leading CPR 8525 and a CSX unit west.

NS and BNSF power exit from beneath the Route 53 bridge westbound in the cut.

NS 7319 rebuilt to SD70ACU from Union Pacific 8247 pops out of Gallitzin tunnel headed west.

NS 7295 with the 8440 sweeps through the curves eastbound at Tyrone later Sunday afternoon.

Finally to end the weekend Amtrak #43 rolls into Tyrone for a station stop on the way to Pittsburgh with #125 leading.
