Wednesday - 13 June 2018

1) B772-13 eastbound at Keymont, WV returning with tonnage reduction cars from Grafton, WV.

2) B770-13 eastbound at Keymont, WV following behind on the heels of the B772 with the outbound traffic from the WV Central Junction Yard.

3) At Keyser, The Conductor from the B770 has just handed off his paperwork to the Conductor on the B772. The B770 will leave their cars on the main and duck into the west yard. The B772 will add the cars from the B770 and pull their combined train into the east yard for the next days Q316 to pickup and take to Cumberland, MD.

Friday - 15 June 2018

1) Q316-13 eastbound passing the Lowndes Signal near Pinto, MD.

2) Q317-15 westbound at 21st. Bridge Rd., MD running "wrong main" on track #2. A surfacing gang has been working on track #1 between Cumberland, MD and Keyser, WV this day.

3) Surfacing gang on the crossovers at 21st. Bridge Rd. MD. They will cross over to track #2 and enter the east yard at Keyser for the night.

1) B772-15 eastbound at Keymont, WV with tonnage reduction cars from Grafton, WV.

2) JUST Visiting ..... B771-15 arrives at Keyser, WV. with an ailing #2035 but is just for a short visit as the Q317 was "supposed to" set out a replacement locomotive. The #2035 itself was a replacement the day before for the ailing #6214 that is sitting on the Freight Track waiting to get picked up by a Q316.

3) With the crew from B771 talking to the dispatcher about their missing motor, B772 (right) gets lined to go into the west yard to tie down for the night. The cars from Grafton are in the east yard and will be picked up the next day by Q316.

Saturday - 16 June 2018

Car Seat Navigator calling the shots today.....

1) A N999 Coal drag sits tied down on track #2 at Keyser, WV. A later eastbound drag (N792) will combine trains to take east.

2) We head for Frostburg for the 6 yr. old's #501 fix....

3) Going for a "Non-Tourist Train Shot"... Engineer boarding the #501 on the turntable at Frostburg, MD.

1) Empty man for the Mountain, act #1...... E781-15 westbound at Beall Street in Cumberland, MD. With the Train Masters blessing the 131 car emptyman will not be stopping in Keyser to set out the 1 car to get below the limit over the mountain.

2) Empty man for the mountain, act #2...... Just minutes behind the first westbound, E780-15 heads west off the single main at Beall St. in Cumberland.

3) Eastbound P030-16 along Day Road outside Cumberland, MD.

1) An empty American View on the rear of a very later P030-16 at Day Rd.

2) Back in Keyser, we catch the N792-12 eastbound at Bull Neck Curve. They combined their train with the early N999 to create a 130 car coal drag going east.

After finishing up at the Part-Time Gig, the Car Seat Navigator joins me again today.

1) Q316-15 eastbound passing the closed Faulk Bros Scrap Yard outside Keyser, WV.

2) N750-14 eastbound at the Lowndes Signal near Pinto, MD.

3) E783-16 westbound at 21st. Bridge Rd., MD.

This caption has me confused though:

Is that "eastbound" an "artifact", or am I missing something?

Tim as soon as they finish tearing out that bridge at the end of the viaduct,you can start showing us pictures of stacks and auto racks coming thru Keyser.
