I've been railroading all my life I know better. Ed K. Date: 07/11/18 17:23 Re: Alco's Author: superchief1944 I grew up (so I claim) in Brewster, NY on the NYC at the very end of steam (I was a little kid then) and one of my all time favorite diesels has always been Alco's RS-3/RS-2 series which hauled the Harlem Division commuter trains. And while growing up with RS-3s in NYC paint I must admit that the Jersey Central green and yellow is just fabulous. Lightning Stripes look great but are maybe a bit pretentious on an RS-series unit. The JC Green is very fine.
