CSX Q504 with lots of power
Author: srman

Sunday morning I was lucky enough to catch northbound CSX Q504 as it began to cross the Ohio River from Louisville Ky. into Indiana. Eight locomotives all being a different class lead by BNSF 1105 in Heritage 1 paint. Power in order was: BNSF C44-9W 1105, CSX ES40DC 5255, CSX ET44AH 3433, CSX CW44AC 392, CSX ES44AH 856, PRLX SD75M 226, CSX SW1001 1127 and finally CSX MP15T
1235.

Great catch. The bridge makes it even better.
If you put that lashup on a model railroad, most would say it wasn't prototypical.

Does this bridge have a name ?   I moved away from Louisville in 1962 .  ( That can explain why I can't tremember the name )

I think originally it was referred to as the 14th St bridge. Now days most call it the Louisville & Indiana (LIRC) bridge. Before that Conrail and before that the Pennsyvania.
