Democratic candidate for Governor Ned Lamont toured the former NYNH&H Waterbury line, and inspected Metro-North improvements. Local leaders would like to see more frequency, and direct trains to Grand Central Terminal.

Thru trains to GCT have been tried before, the lack of ridership caused their end.
